Description
Antique Edison standard phonograph with seven wax cylinders. Includes lid, horn, original leather belt, two extra belts, and an extra needle (?). The wax cylinders include “The Girl I Left Behind”, “Beautiful Hawaii Waltz”, “Overture to Zampa”, “El Miserere” from Il Trovatore, “Arrah Wanna”, “My Wife Gone to the Country”, and “Moon Winks”. Manufactured in the early 20th century. 16 x 12 x 9.5″ with lid. 19.4 lbs.
Condition: The wax cylinder for “El Miserere” suffers internal chipping though this does not affect the integrity of the etching. The lids for “Arrah Wanna” and “Moon Winks” are missing. Wear commensurate with age otherwise, see pictures for more detail. Musical Instruments
