Description
Arisaka type 99 Japanese WWII rifle. The chrysanthemum has been rubbed off, in accordance with the terms of Japanese surrender which stipulated the erasure of imperial imagery. The finish indicates that this was manufactured early in the war.
Fair quality, the parkerization has largely rubbed off and there are heavy scratches on the body. The piece appears to be functional, with the safety, spring tension, and slide all in working order. There is an audible click when the trigger is pulled. That being said, this company is not a gun shop and its employees are not gunsmiths. A more comprehensive assessment of the piece’s quality and functionality is up to the buyer to carry out.
