Description
Sporterized 1891 Mosin-Nagant Remington Rifle, dated to 1917. Serial No. 550679. Missing sight aperture. These rifles were manufactured for the Russian army prior to the Russian Revolution. The unsold pieces were then customized for use as hunting rifles. Other Mosin-Nagant models would be used in warfare for the rest of the 20th century. Perfect for appreciators of WWI history and military equipment. 8.3 lbs.
Fine quality, the bluing is largely intact aside from where the sight aperture is missing. The piece appears to be functional, with the safety, spring tension, and slide all in working order. There is an audible click when the trigger is pulled. That being said, this company is not a gun shop and its employees are not gunsmiths. A more comprehensive assessment of the piece’s quality and functionality is up to the buyer to carry out.
