Trick-or-Treasure: Fall Jewelry & Collectibles Auction
Lot 213447:
Description
Springfield Armory model 1922 M1 variant from 1925. Includes original strap. Serial number 19192B. These rifles were used for training up until World War Two. 9.3 lbs.
Fine quality, parkerizing has faded. The piece appears to be functional, the bolt moves fine, the spring tension is good, and there is an audible click when the trigger is depressed. There is, however, a layer of sand in certain corners, which does create some friction. That being said, this company is not a gun shop and its employees are not gunsmiths. A more comprehensive assessment of the piece’s quality and functionality is up to the buyer to carry out.
