Description
Marlin .44 pump action shotgun. The barrel features an inscription which reads “The Marlin Firearms Corporation, New Haven, Conn. USA”. Following this is patent information. These pieces were largely manufactured between 1922 and 1933.
Fair quality, the bluing has rubbed off and the action release does not prevent the pump from being engaged. The piece appears to be functional, with the safety, spring tension, and slide all in working order. There is an audible click when the trigger is pulled. That being said, this company is not a gun shop and its employees are not gunsmiths. A more comprehensive assessment of the piece’s quality and functionality is up to the buyer to carry out.
