18th-C-English-Musical-Bracket-Clock-Sell-AppraiseA FINE 18TH CENTURY ENGLISH MUSICAL BRACKET CLOCK George III Period musical, chiming bracket clock with painted dial signed "G Yonge (George), Strand, London", Mahogany case with brass carry handle. Brass movement with engraved Prince of Wales feathers.

The chimes are adjustable and include Jig, Air, Minuet, March, Dance, and song. George Yonge was a Maker to His Majesty, and worked from 156 The Strand, London until the firm was dissolved in 1833. This clock comes with keys and a 1953 receipt from Charles Frodsham & Co, London. The clock is in working order but may need to be re-set on delivery and the chiming mechanism may need to be tuned . Size: 16" tall. Condition: VGC small veneer replacement to the door. | Sold $6035
