S. Edwards after Nattier signed and framed and engraving. Samuel Arlent Edwards (British, 1861-1938) was famous for his engraving and mezzotint reproductions of famous works. This particular engraving is done after Jean-Marc Nattier's painting entitled, "Marie Adelaide of France as Flora." The engraving is signed by Edwards in pencil on the left side of the lower margin.
