Antique early 20th century Fostoria Versailles green uranium glass centerpiece bowl. The piece is moulded in a mushroom shape with floral motifs etched toward the bottom and sterling silver gilding applied throughout. The center features a depression for a flower holder frog insert, which consists of a normal glass container and a uranium glass lid. This allows for the even spacing of stems in a flower arrangement. With its unique appearance and manufacture, this piece is sure to be an eye catcher. Size: 14 x 12 x 3" Condition: The sterling retains its original luster. Suffers from minor chips. The bottom of the insert is stained, possibly from dirt from past use. Cleaning has been attempted and requires more. See pictures for more detail.
