Description
“Jeune Couple”, a vintage bronze statuary lamp by Luca Madrassi. The piece depicts a young man confessing his love to a young woman as he laces his fingers around hers. The lamps, which are functional, are interpolated into the original design as oversized flowers. The piece is set on a green marble base with an engraved plaque which misattributes the piece as “Lovers” by Ruggeri. The artist’s actual signature is on the ground near the female figure. 108.2 lbs.

Condition: Wear commensurate with age. The lights function though one bulb requires replacement. See pictures for more detail.
