Description
Antique hand painted floral vase. The vase is sculpted in a Greek style and features Art Nouveau flowers with gold-toned metallic borders. The import stamp on the bottom reads “Imperial Nippon Hand Painted”; this dates the piece to 1921 or earlier, as the US mandated the use of the word “Japan” on Japanese imports since “Nippon” (the emic name for Japan) was deemed too foreign. 3.1lbs.
