Description
Antique German China head doll. This doll has a porcelain head, hands/forearms, and feet/shins. the stamp on the shoulder plate says “1 1/2”. The doll’s low brow and curly hairstyle indicate that this piece is from between 1850 and 1870 (hairstyle is the typical way China head doll collectors identify the date of their pieces). The dress may be new owing to its materials and vibrant color.
