Description
Vintage 1958 Anri Universum wooden chess set. All pieces are either kiln-dried black walnut or white maple carved in a minimalist Midcentury-Modern style and are based on space ships, missiles, satellites, and other Space Age themed vessels/projectiles. These pieces were designed by Arthur Elliot, an early Disney animator.
Does not include chess board.
11 x 7.5 x 3.25″ box, 4″ tall king.
