Description
Vintage WWII trench art piece of a brass spitfire plane with stylistically elongated wingtips, perhaps to emulate a bird. The piece lacks a base though there is a screw and plate which could easily accommodate one. “Trench art” refers to pieces made by veterans, often from melted down bullets or other equipment as a means of trauma relief.
Size: 12 X 6 X 5.5″
