James Stewart was an American actor from the Golden Age of Hollywood. Most notable for his starring role in “It’s a Wonderful Life”, he also appeared in the play, and later its 1950 film adaptation, “Harvey”, about a man who has an imaginary six-foot tall rabbit friend named Harvey. Stewart would become notable for this role some time after the film’s release, which is why autographed sketches of the titular rabbit proliferate.
