Description
Antique 8" J.L Hammett terrestrial world globe. This superb Art Deco/ Nouveau antique globe was probably manufactured by the C.S. Hammond globe company and distributed by J.L. Hammett & CO in the early 1900’s. The stand is cast iron with a raised foliate decoration. The globe is mounted with iron hour circles at each pole, raised at 23.5 degrees on a curved inclination arm.
