Not sold
Description
‘Tallahassee, FL’ by Alann J. Boatright in 1981, depicting a run-down street in the titular city. The painting is in the artistic tradition of American Realism, given its stark lines, flat lighting, and blunt depiction of life in the US. The artist would eventually transition away from this style and develop his own called Mechanical Surrealism, making this piece an interesting representative of his early work. Perfect for appreciators of Modern art and Americana. The frame is a lightweight silver-toned metal and the whole piece weighs 4.2 lbs.
