Lot of seventeen pieces of children’s educational materials to include: books1-7 of McGuffey’s Eclectic Primer (6th printing, 1978), The Literary World Sixth Reader (1919), Appletons’ School Readers Third Reader (1907), The Gordon Readers Fifth Book (1914), Linen ABC Book (1899), Elson Basic Readers Pre-Primer (1930), Harper’s Third Reader (1888), The Mastery of Words for High Schools (originally published 1923, likely printed later), Words: Their Spelling, Pronunciation, Definition, Application (1911), Wheeler’s Graded Readers: A First Reader (1918 printing), and a linen ABC Nursery Rhymes book (1895). Although these are too old/musty for children to use, they are still worthwhile for those interested in or appreciative of the the history of education.
