Description
SPORTERIZED US Krag Springfield Armory 1896 bolt action .30-.40 caliber rifle. These infantry rifles were used in the early stages of the Spanish-American war.
Good quality, the bluing has rubbed off somewhat and there are slivers of wood missing from the body. The piece appears to be functional, with the safety, spring tension, and slide all in working order. There is an audible click when the trigger is pulled. That being said, this company is not a gun shop and its employees are not gunsmiths. A more comprehensive assessment of the piece’s quality and functionality is up to the buyer to carry out.
