Description
1943-P/D/S Lincoln Steel Wheat Cents NGC MS-65 to include: one 1943-P, one 1943-S, and two 1943-D Lincoln Steel cents NGC MS-65. In 1943, it was the heart of WWII and the copper used in the traditional pennies was required for bullets. Thus, in 1943, all U.S. mints began using steel to make the pennies. This was only for the year 1943 (aside from the extremely rare 1944 steel pennies).
