Pablo Ruiz Picasso was a Spanish painter, sculptor, printmaker, ceramicist, and stage designer who is considered one of the most influential artists of the 20th century. He was a key figure in the development of modern art, pioneering Cubism with Georges Braque and inspiring Surrealism and Symbolism.
