Frederic Remington (1861-1909, American) limited edition lithograph 26/1950. This litho is titled “Thrust his Lance through the body and rode him down” ca 1889. Comes with authentication. Remington was a painter, illustrator, sculptor, and writer who specialized in the genre of Western American Art. His works are known for depicting the Western United States in the last quarter of the 19th century and featuring such images as cowboys, American Indians, and the US Cavalry.
