9.2CT TANZANITE & 0.39 DIAMOND PLATINUM NECKLACE
One electronically tested platinum ladies cast & assembled tanzanite and diamond pendant with chain. Condition is new, good workmanship. The pendant features a tanzanite set within a diamond bezel with a lattice under gallery, completed by a diamond set bail. The pendant is supported by an eighteen inch length platinum wheat chain, terminating in a lobster claw clasp. Brightpolish finish. Trademark is Orianne. Identified with markings of "PT950". Containing: One prong set cushion modified brilliant cut natural tanzanite, measuring 13.91 x 9.39 x 8.50mm, exact weight 9.20ct., clarity is eye clean, type I, dark, moderately strong, violet color, (GIA V 7/4), cut is good. Transmitting light with no distortion, transparent. GIA Gemological Report attached. Graded loose prior tosetting in the GIA Laboratory, Report # 2161949462. Tanzanite is a very rare gemstone that is only found in the country of Tanzania. Originally discovered in 1967. Tiffany & Company, named the stone Tanzanite.Very fine.
