Antique Henry III 1/2 Franc silver French coin from between 1574 to 1589. Henry III reigned during the later stages of the French Wars of Religion and was murdered for his assassination of the leader of the Catholic League. This coin is thus a small memento of the events which shaped Modern Europe’s religious landscape.
