Description
Midcentury Impressionist painting by Georges Guérin depicting the Quai de l’Horloge, a street by the Seine river in Paris. The flower market concentrated on the right side of the painting contrasts with the grey buildings looming over them on the left, perhaps signifying the persistent vibrancy of human existence against their indifferent surroundings. The piece is contained in a simple frame painted like tarnished silver.
Size: 23.5″ X 17.5″ painting, 26″ X 20.25″ X 1
Condition: The frame is mildly dusty but the painting is pristine otherwise, see pictures for more information.
