Description
World’s Finest Comics #44, a Golden Age DC comic which is notable for its use in Seduction of the Innocent as evidence of implied homosexuality between Batman and Robin. This book, which was written by the psychiatrist Fredric Wertham and which precipitated the formation of the Comics Code Authority, alleged that the violent and subversive subject matter of comic books promoted antisocial and criminal behavior among American youth. The comic includes a CGC header which lists the piece as 3.5 but the plastic case is absent.
