This piece includes three white women looking up along with an inscription about the verse 2nd Corinthians 5:7 which proclaims this message. Additionally, the tin used for this piece was from where she was born. “Missionary” Mary L. Proctor is an American artist, best known for her visionary paintings, collages, and assemblages.
