Description
Folio Society collection of John Julius Norwich’s history trilogy “Byzantium” about the Byzantine Empire. The books are collected in a thick slipcase and each cover is richly embossed with illustrations inspired by historical art. Each book also includes maps on the endpapers and two sets of photos amid the pages. This is the third edition, published in 2005. Perfect for appreciators of Late Antique, Medieval, and Renaissance history.
Condition: Wear commensurate with age. The slipcase is scuffed. the pages on the first book are stained, and certian pages have had their corners creased. See pictures for more detail.
