Description
Copy of the "Baseball Bugs" sericel print depicting the iconic character as a baseball player. The piece is signed by the iconic Yankees player Micky Mantle and includes a signed statement of witness by the president of Animation Distributors of America Inc., testifying to his presence during the signing, along with a photograph of the signing itself. According to the statement of witness, this signature was made on May 5, 1995, a little more than three months before Mantle’s death. The piece is contained in a wooden frame with a cream border and a wood bevel near the sericel and is behind plexiglass.
