Description
Vintage Medieval-style iron wall shield with two crossed swords. The center of the shield features a double-headed eagle, a common heraldic emblem of German and Russian dynasties which was invoked to imply succession from the East Roman/Byzantine Empire. Manufactured between 1930-1950. 10.6 lbs.
