Arthur Wardle (1864-1949) “Widgeon” pencil, pen & watercolor framed and heightened with white gonache. Signed in the bottom right corner. Arthur Wardle was a British painter. Born in London, aged just sixteen Wardle had a piece displayed at the Royal Academy. His first exhibit was a study of cattle by the River Thames, leading to a lifelong interest in painting animals.
Size: 25.25″ X 21.50″
Condition: Very fine.
