Gary Longordo (1952-present, American) this portrait painting of Marlon Brando measures 20 X 25″ Original acrylic painting of Marlon Brando on Belgian canvas in sepia tone attached to foam board. This piece is beautifully done using dry brush, airbrush, and chalk pastel: this is original and NOT a print. This painting was done inspired by the 2011 Topps American Pie MARLON BRANDO The Godfather Streetcar Called Desire #10. With rare dedication to integrity Longordo works in the rich traditions of the Renaissance era. Working with mixed media, such as airbrush, dry brush, pastel, pen and ink to capture his subjects true essence. A commercial artist widely known for stirring religious and patriotic themes, his subjects range from John the Baptist to Nascar notable Kyle Petty.
Gary’s Clients include among many others, McDonalds and the New York Yankees. He is the official artist for Norwegian Cruise Lines, Marilyn Monroe Foundation, 500 Home Run Club, Willie Stargel Foundation, MAB Celebritys and Cal Ripkin’s Ironclad.
